that hill is called stoner mountain and the gravel pit next to it is military gravel pits. i run them trails every week and never seen a DNR officer anywhere near military road. they wont give you a hard time driving around the area as long as the military isnt shooting anywhere near. i have a friend that can take his 2 wheel drive car up the far left side of the hill. if you go to the top you'll see burnt wood from us having a campfire on top of the hill. i would do it and if they say anything just tell them you never touch the sand hill and you drove in from the back of the hill because there is a trail on the back thats not bad
