Take pictures with a digicam of the vacuum hose routing, and then use masking tape and a permanent marker to clearly label every vacuum connection, and put clear tape over the words, so if you get dirty fingers, you can wipe off the clear tape, being able to read the tags you worked so hard to make.

The wiring plugs are all color coded, and only go on one way, so any 5th grader can perform the electrical side of things.

You can pull the intake off, in one single piece, only having to disconnect the coolant hoses from the choke, they will be too short to reach. Your 1.6 will not have a lobe on the camshaft for your mechanical fuel pump, and there is a small sheet metal cover over the hole. You need a quality low pressure electric fuel pump, and a fuel pressure regulator that is accurate to 3-4 PSI. Steer clear of the Autozone crap.

When you get ready to drop in the 1.6, keep posting any questions you come up with, its been done, and we can help.
