It's come to the point where when something needs to "get running", it's one of 2 things.

Retards park their stuff with gas in it and don't touch it for years. It won't run because the carb is cashed out with gunk. That's usually a steal, but the retards don't know that because they don't understand the whole time/fuel thing.

Then there's the "ran when i parked it", but it's actually seized up. They will even argue that it ran when it was parked, but that's really a moot point if it won't kick over.

I'll usually take a chance on good compression/turns over. It's a gamble because the lower end may be trashed out, and it's not running so it's hard to tell. Especially risky on Jetski's.

On an old bike like that, I'd go for it. if you get it and it's a case, you can part it out on ebay and probaly make some coin off of it.
