Yeah, until they look at the credit card activity and its a third transaction for a non-typical volume after business hours. Your plan is fine if they just continue to look at the bottom line. Pick a day when you may not have to drive as much and take the wife's car to work. Then you can better defend the charge if they get picky because you actually drove that vehicle in the course of doing your job and the fill-up would be during working hours.
