True enough.

I'm kind of fighting it, but I know I'm going to have to do it right and buy some 1 inch plate, cut holes through the tube and use that as d-ring plates and the mounting plate. So the force goes directly to the frame instead of any being on the bumper.

I was having trouble thinking of a way to do that with the tools I have at home, without creating sloppy holes like using a torch, but I think I have it now.


Thanks for the input guys, I'll just do it the way I should instead of worrying about it this way.
