It only slips for a second if that, and hooks right back up. Sometimes I can feel it, other times I just see the tach jump 100 RPMs. But that tach will always jump when I feel it jerk.
I'm not really firmiliar with dodge tranny's, but I'd pull a schematic to see if the TCC engagement has it's own connector, and pull it....drive it like that - if it's still there, your SOL. If not, your still SOL because the convertor is crappin out
