Sen. Birkholz runs all her committees in two phases. She brings up a bill and takes testimony on it one week, and then either the next week or a couple weeks thereafter she brings the bill up again and votes on it.
This gives her and the other committee members time to process and review the testimony and gather any more information they need from the testifiers or policy analysts before making a decision on it.
At this point, hounding her on the bill will not do much good, and will most likely serve only to annoy her. Yes, she needs to hear from constituents, but harassing emails and phone calls are not very productive. If you feel you must do something, contact the other members of the committee, as they are the ones that will be voting:
Sen. Bruce Patterson
Sen. Jerry Van Woerkom
Sen. Ray Basham
