I'm running a Tabor 12k, I picked it up when they first came out for dirt cheap, had a 2 year warranty on it and have had it for 3yrs without an issue. It's warns off brand so it's a little slower than the warn's but it's made by pretty much all the same parts. Controllers the same, solenoidsare even stamped with the warn logo
I sold and installed a Tabor 9000 for a customer. All in all I would say it is a petty good winch. It hasn't been without it's problems though. A wire in the control box somehow got chaffed and left him stranded. He also broke the 5/16 line. I have since replaced it with a 3/8 synthetic line for him. The guy doesnt maintain any of his stuff, so the fact that it still works at all is a testiment to it's quality.
