I have heard that you can put those orange triangle things on the back of them and they can be considered farm equipment and be driven on the side of the road?????????? This doesn't make then street legal but at least you can go down the road to the neighbors or so unlike a quad.

What I can't figure out is why once the snow falls you can drive snomobiles just about anywhere you want even down a paved road and right up to the gas pump if you want. You surely cannot do that with a quad, I got pulled over by the DNR on a seasonal only road and he said I cannot be riding anywhere but private property or designated ORV trails.
