I in no way condone their actions.

We hear all the time how we (4x4 enthusiast) destroy the land. But it is OK to completely strip away tress and fields for another CVS or Subway. Not to mention logging and what it does to the land.
I understand what your saying and agree somewhat, but I think sometime soon there will be a reversal in this. Increases in energy prices will have people looking to downsize and get closer to city centers again and when they do they'll find lots of cheap vacant land there to build on.


I wonder what the "carbon footprint" of burning homes looks like?
