I would recommend the 215 as the best bargin. You can sometimes find them for ~$1400 if your local supply will match online prices.

Benefits over the Ironman would be:
15' welding lead as opposed to 10'
The 215 has an all metal drive assembly (unsure on the Ironman)
At 170 amps the 215 has a 70% duty cycle... The Ironman is 40% at 150amps.

I don't know how much you plan on using it at once, so duty cycle may not be a concern?

Also check cost of consumables for each model.

Real good infor here. I use Millermatic 210 at work (but it was stolen a few weeks ago) and a Millermatic 251 at the house. The Lincoln and Miller are about the same with features, can't go wrong with either but with a Hobart I real don't know much about them.
