I like Miller welders. I have a Millematic 130 that does a good job on smaller stuff. I use it on exhaust and other thin stuff. I use .023 wire in that unit so it is smooth and easy to control. I have a Snap On Muscle Mig 250 I use on the big stuff. I use .035 wire in this unit and have found it to be a very capable machine. The Snap On welder is somewhat sensitive to wire speed but once dialed in makes for some really nice welds. This unit also has a Tig and spool gun attachment. The Tig can't be used on aluminum ( I didn't know that when I bought that part) but the spool gun does a great job for aluminum, especially cast.
