I guess, if you want to teach Intelligent design in your school, that's fine, you better be prepared to teach about the FSM beside it. It has just as much legitimacy.
Never said it was. But I don't believe every aspect of evolution holds up the science as we know it either. Some of it remains unexplained, thats why it's still being studied and why new ideas come about regularly. Some is nothing more than a hypothesis. I'm not suggesting that ID or FSM be taught, all I ask is that evolution be presented as an incomplete but developing theory of how life on earth came about, and that there are other theories that also attempt to explain the same thing, rather than being presented as a complete and proven fact, which it isn't.
