SG, one day, you will wake up and your christmas presents from 2003 will be back on your porch, along with your laptop and my Birkenstocks will be back on mine.
Gee, I don't have these problems on my street. In fact, a couple nights ago my wife left the hatch open on her car and our neighbor came over and closed it, then knocked on the door so she could go out to see if anything was missing.
Honestly, if it weren't for our neighbors I'd have walked away from this house by now. (and it's paid for)
You meant to say the bank decided since you weren't gonna pay for it and it wasn't worth shit they just forgave your debt right? .... that's a little different then paid for.
Not starting a shit storm I hope. With that logic if we destroyed all guns people wouldn't shoot people right? I get that leaving stuff where people see it makes you a target of opportunity. Isn't the real issue the lack of morals and respect?
No, the real issue was AJ being kind enough to leave my sunglasses. I really love them.
Clearly I should NOT have left my laptop out on my passenger seat. I know this. Yesterday was my son's first day of kindergarten. When I got home, I hurried in to see him and give him & my daughter a present. Totally forgot about it until 6:22AM when I was leaving for my office.
Sucks.....but it's replaceable.
Sadly, Clarkston has experienced more crime recently. The deputy this morning said they have caught several Pontiac people doing things like this.
What confuses me......laptops are cheap. I bet my sunglasses are almost as expensive!
My parents being broken into is one thing, they are secluded from a road. However, you live in a nice sub.... I'm guessing they parked on maybe and walked through your back yard?
In college I went out with a girl a few times that had some little ghetto trash, cunt BFF that tried to justify stealing shit from people by saying that it was ok if it was someone's birthday or some bullshit like that and you couldn't afford a present for them.
That is the mentality of people that do this kind of shit... :whiz:
I think this has been a growing trend for some time now.
There is nothing left to steal in the hood anymore and the ghetto has expanded enough that most nicer areas are now easily within reach of the $5 worth of gas you traded your EBT card for...
I'm 15 minutes from Pontiac and 10 from Waterford.
It sucks that Waterford is turning into what it is. It used to be a decent place with a mixture of red necks and money (lakefront). Now...
I honestly blame school of choice for a lot of this shit.

Kill the thieves. But moral of story is. You don't want to be ripped
Off park in the garage, lock your doors, don't leave nice stuff in your car in plain sight. When I lived in Brighton back in 03 I was broke into 3 times. Moved to Westland and it happened 3 times. And one truck stolen in Westland. Your not safe anywhere. Damn I hate thieves.
my exs dad lives probably a good 300 yds off of the road and has had 2 cars broken into in his driveway. kinda ballsy to walk up that long of a drive to steal stuff i think
Sounds like they have good cover from people who are awake and able to call the police.
I've had good luck keeping my cars in the garage.
