alright guys, its not exactly 4x4 racing but its still offroad racing. West michigan offroad is a jenison based family that puts on races almost every weekend. they have expenses just like you and me but they spend almost $10,000 to put on a race. the stands are starting to get a little bit thin and us drivers are trying to relay the message about the races to bring in more of a crowd. all im trying to say is come to one race and give it a chance. buy a raffle ticket and have a chance to win the raffle car to race in a heat. the raffle car has been in the main event many times, just depends on how you drive it. we have a powder puff event, rookie event for just getting your feet wet. there are truck races also, those are trucks running front or rear wheel drive, any rear wheel drive car or van. truck class is unlimited. contact West Michigan Offroad for the rules of the trucks. good way to get into the sport and not have a ton of money into your car. my two combined cars only have a total of maybe $500 into both cars running.

find yourself any front wheel drive car, 4-6-8cylinder. get rid of all the interior and glass, put a 4x4 steel square tubing behind the seat and put somet door and side to side support in the car. relocate the gas tank and battery and run it. we have a complete write up on the rules and regulations on the website.

please visit WMOffroad.com and visit the forum and ask questions. it is a family event so bring the kids. here is a picture of the schedule for the rest of the season. we have 4 races left. help make them one for the record books.hope to see you at the races.
