It did start as a BS post but I sold 2500 rounds in about 5 hours at a swap meet here in south haven for that price. I bought all the ammo from my brother who sold his 22 not off the shelves but if you see something you can buy and sell for a good profit why not do it? Fuckin merica bitches.
The people paying the gouger prices are as much of the problem as the sellers. If people are stupid enough to pay it, they deserve to get ripped off. Just sucks for the rest of us.
Lets face it, most of the buyers aren't even shooting it. They're just caught up in the panic and hoarder mentality and are unable to exercise any self control or restraint when they see it for sale.
Dammit, will you guys stop bumping this thread! I keep seeing the title thinking somebody might actually be selling some CCI at a normal price :sonicjay:
Good price? A good price is free, which is exactly how much I charged a friend for a 100 round pack of cci. If anyone had a decently priced 500 round box they would be willing to sell him, he needs ammo to take his son and daughter and teach them to shoot.
Fucking price gougers. My mom bought a 1966 Chevelle and it cost her $2400 in 1966. I want one, but I shouldn't have to pay $75,000 for one. You know, because they used to cost $2400 brand new. What kind of bullshit is this? I want to buy some Google stock for $85 too. You know, because that is what it used to sell for...
Difference is 22lr ammo would be readily available for the 5¢/round price if gougers would quit buying it just to resell for ridiculous prices.
