Dana 60 knuckle upgrades

Currently running a 78-79 spec Ford 60 with plated stock knuckles and no high steer. I wanna upgrade the knuckles and go to highsteer.

I know most will say just buy Reid stuff and be done but i'm thinking of going a different direction. I am thinking of picking up a cheap super duty 50 and putting everything from the inner C out on my axle and having Rock Solid work their magic on the outer knuckles. In my opinion after seeing this setup side by side with the reid king pin knuckles it looks just as beefy and i like the simplicity of the unit bearings. If i can score a donor axle cheap the overall cost will be way less than reid stuff also.

Thoughts?

Rsp has done an awesome job with the unit bearing outers. I just bought back the axles from my old buggy project. The front is a 99-04 60 with all the Rsp goodies on the outers. I haven't ran them yet but I definitely have no complaints about the quality that they put out. The machining is perfect on the knuckles for high steer. The arms don't slide on easily but you don't have to beat them on either. Just a few taps with a mallet and they are on with zero wiggle before you even put the bolts in. I also had them drill the unit bearings to 8 on 6.5 and machine them for their smaller brake setup. I also got the caliper bracket for the smaller brakes. They are great guys that put out a top notch product.

Make sure whatever you get the high steer is keyed.I have eorp billet knuckles and I'm very happy.I just broke the kingpin off and the knuckles are fine.rsp has good stuff.i also like the unit bearing.there is a bunch of people making some sweet knuckles out there now also.
