WTF is wrong with people??

So last night my wife and I were shopping at the local Meijer when we notice some DB walking back and forth near the registers wearing all black, with his hood up and a sort of ski mask on. This I would expect someone to be dressed like that if they were quickliy running into the gas station or a party store, but come on in a f*cking Meijer. My wife sees him and immediately begins to get uncomfortable because about years ago she was robbed at gun point by a guy in a ski mask.

So a few minutes later we were at the self scan and realized we had forgot something; we didn't see the guy anymore so she sent me to get it. I was a few aisles away when I noticed that D*CK was standing there near the end of the self scan we were at just staring at my wife. She was so scared that she couldn't move. I quickly made my way over there and he walked into a group of people and took off. I followed, but couldn't find him once we got outside.

Obviously he noticed her reaction when she saw him and took advantage of that. WTF makes people think that things like that are OK?

I would imagine that since you live in Lapeer this isn't the first guy you've seen like this, is it? Every time I head up that way I seem to run into a crack head.

In any event, I am sorry about your wife.

High on drugs needed a refill.
Yup, that would be my guess.

Honestly, I have lived here for about two and a half years and that was the first time I ran into someone acting like that. I guess it just depends on where you find yourself.

In any event, I am sorry about your wife.
Thanks I appreciate it. It just goes to show that you never truly forget.

Yeah, that's a jerky thing to do. On Halloween my friends and I were doing a video scavenger hunt for part of our Halloween party. One of my friends was dressed as Rorschach from The Watchmen with the mask and everything. We went into Walmart and were trying to get another big bunch of costumed folks to help us with a challenge and an employee told him he couldn't wear the mask in the store. He wasn't being a dick or anything, but it's understandable why they don't allow that inside the stores.

This is why I will be getting my CCW on the 9th. Kicking someones ass was the old way of dealing with these idiots. But now they carry guns because that is the only way they can keep from getting scared themselves. I will just be evening the game out. Glad you guys are OK and way to stay on your toes. You never know in these times.

Whats the world coming too? Oh no some guy had a mask on and it was cold out . He probably saw your wife looking at him and thought I'm going to mess with this lady and while your all worked up he's :sonicjay: all the way home.

First of all, it's not like this guy was was acting normal. The way he was looking around, and the way he was pacing back and forth between the registers and the bank inside the store was SHADY AS HELL. We weren't the only ones to notice either, everyone around was watching him and trying to figure out what he was up to.

Second thing, put yourself in my shoes. Imagine if someone you loved, whether it was your wife, your girlfriend shit even your mom had their life threatened. Someone walked up, stuck a gun in their face told them they were going to f*ckin kill them if they didn't do exactly as they said. Then something like this happens. What would you do??? How would you feel??? I'm willing to bet that you wouldn't find it funny.

You can say whan you like but I've worked hard since I was 7 years old to fight the way I do.( I'm 35 now yeah 28 years ) I wanted to be a pro boxer as a kid was a wrestler all the way from peewee to the end of school and hold high belts in 3 martial arts . I still go train now a few times a week .

So you mean to tell me that all that training will stop a bullet from some random meth addict that is all stung out. I weight train four days a week for the past 15 years myself. So you bet I can handle my own but, when there is a doper needing there fix with a gun. I dont think how much I bench, deadlift, or curl mean s%&. Just making a point.

You all should realize he was probably a mentally disabled cart wrangler.

I think Meijer requires black pants, last time I was there all the employees had black pants on. It was cold he probably didn't want to windburn his face.

Lapeer = less crackheads than other big towns...I would hope

I like the area, and have never seen a crackhead in my travel's....of course..I dont get out much :teehee:

When I am in public...I have no probroblems confronting someone acting a fool :thumb: Try it..most people dont even know "How to deal " with confrontation anymore :sonicjay:

** also ...hope your wife eventually learns to overcome her Temporary fear ...in time it should pass **

I had a friend teach me to disarm people just because of idiots with guns. I guess that's why I work in the ghetto with no gun, well that and I don't have a ccw. I've found that most dumbasses that aren't supposed to have guns don't have a problem getting close enough to take it away. Anyhow I'm glad to hear your wife is allright. Maybe she should take some classes from someone who will wear a mask. I don't know it might help.
