Having a Poker Run / Fun Run in the Kalkaska area the weekend before Holloween. There will be 5 stops, you get a card at each stop, dinner is included at the last stop. PM me if you have any questions. Cash prize for best hand. Not sure on cost yet waiting to hear back from the dinner stop. I'll post it as soon as I hear. :sparks:
not sure how far it is yet, a little bit of trails and roads, no it doesn't need to be a Jeep. I'm going to try and get some mileage this weekend while up there.
hooperdog-where are you plannin on leavin out of? we are both on hcs, i am johns son (trbomax aka the horney groomer) sounds like a good pway to end the warmer jeepin months. where do you plan on eating?
Starting out at Kiootees on Co. Rd. 571. between 10 & 11am to get registered and first card. I'll have the schedule where the cards will be and what times. You can go any way you want don't have to stay in a group just need to be at the next stop at certain times for cards. It is $20-25 a person (depends on food spread he puts out) and each person gets to play a hand and yes I keep track of the cards so there is no cheatin. lol...
Bruce from Kiootees is putting out food when we get back to eat, the 3 other stops sell food too.
All of the $$ left after food is paid for goes out to best two hands first & second unless we want one prize for best hand.
Hope to get at least 20 Jeeps. I do one of these in the winter with 60 sleds, it's fun.
Bring whoever you want, talked to Kiootees last night, we're thinking $20 a head is good enough.
Mileage should be around 50-60 miles depending who you follow, lol it will be mostly trails / dirt roads. May have to hit a road or two.
This weekend we are heading up to Alba for a Wertz Warrior Special Olympics BBQ/auction. Then trail riding through the Jordan Valley up by the river. Anyone wants to go on that your more than welcome too. (Saturday)
thanks hooperdog for a fun afternoon............Those who didnt make it missed out..........it helped that katie took home the cash and dallas was the scavenger hunt king.
Thanks for coming, it was good to meet you guys, already have some plans for the next one with some new stop ideas in mind. Have a good one..
