what is the run like for a cj with 31's, my inlaws live in alger near dunham lake, so i know the terrain, but is the crowd with smaller tires very big?
We do run some of the trails that SnoBlind runs. We do not run them the same order the same direction or anything as SnoBlind. Yes we hold it in West Branch, the same area as SnowBlind.
The person where the registration get mailed to has been out of town so we got a little behind. I believe there are more. You will recieve a packet in the mail.
Can I register online and paypal for the event since I have stuck in the south working until Nov.? My wife locked up the check book but need to make this event :naughty:
i had a question about the check list i know you said you don't go over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb but if your vehicle doesn't have an emergency brake would that keep some one from being able to go? i had to cut mine off they were so rusty but have not had the money to replace them yet.. and does your rig have to be street legal and have a license plate and tags?
Vehicle must be street legal with license and insurance.
As for tech inspection, make sure it's safe, has good tow points front and rear, and doesn't leak fluids all over and you will be fine. We do nothing more than a quick walk around of the vehicle to make sure it won't explode going down the trail and you can be pulled on a strap or winch.
Tow points are huge. If you can't afford some 7 dollar hooks from TSC and some good bolts to bolt them on, you should not come on this run.
good Cus I don't have a E- brake ...brakes are for wimps:woot:
By jan it should have the early Bronco axles under it and I will steal my buddies 37 claws or 38" boggers but I will be hitting up CC's night run for sure so I can show him how to wheel with a gas peddle
This girl sitting in her office, in the ghetto, on a gloomy, cold, rainy day DOES NOT want to hear you complain about hot sunny South Florida weather. Mmmmmkay?
If you're on a tight budget, I would give you that. But, the fun factor is VERY high. Have you been to one of the banquets? Heck, the awards alone are worth it.:teehee:
I know it's a long shot but would anyone have an empty seat in one of their rigs. I won't have anything by then (unless someone suggests a crew cab duramax on street tires is a good idea) and this run sounds awesome. I would be willing to throw in some money for gas or what not. It's only a half hour from my house too.
We have only recieved 29 rigistrations. I know times are tough right now, but damn. For those of you wanting to come, please send in your registrations if you haven't done so already. You MUST pre register.

Well, I will pay to NOT have to ride with Stan and listen to his self indulgent dribble about himself. I also believe he likes to sweep for Kelly as he needs the snow all packed down for his rig.
Yup, but maybe more people will see it and send their damn registrations. I mean, Stan is auctioning his junk for christ sake. Why would you want to pass that up? :sonicjay:
