I just got an email that they are shipping the D27/D30 spindle nut socket I ordered a week before Thanksgiving 2007, I needed it for the axle we were swapping in for OSTC and it never came so we did something else. I forgot to cancel the order for the socket though.....

Talk about shitty shipping times, and I NEVER received a call or email about it either to tell me it wouldn't be here when it was supposed to be. :sonicjay:

Eh I will use it anyway.

4WD is so Corp. right now they hardly have anything in stock and almost everything good or worth ordering is drop shipped. I ended up setting up accounts with the spacific vendor just so my customers dont have to wait for the middle man. I think 4wd also owns Jeep essential. I have a rep from both companies with the same gay accent with the same gay name. Jeep essentials is $10 more on the same products as 4wd. Next time order from me and you will pay the same maybe a little less and get your stuff on time.

I usually order from quadratec and haven't ordered anything from 4wd hardware in a while. last time I ordered a sweatshirt they said it was on national backorder.

They cater to the mainstream crowd. Most of the people that buy most of their stuff are just doing it for the cosmetic factor. Just about anything they sell can be had somewhere else for less, especially when you factor in their graduated pricing system on their shipping.

They do know how to market their goods though. Their catalogs are very well laid out.
