Warning after warning after warning. I leave to meet up with some friends. Wife calls to tell me kids just got into a fight. Daughter shoved my son. He flips over backwards and slams his head just shy of a table. Son whips tv remote at sister....misses and shatters the glass in a picture frame.

At this point I just ground them. We attended a Halloween party Saturday nite. Couldn't find a sitter so I dish out another warning. If you screw up at all tonight kiss Halloween goodbye. Well. Apparently they got into a scuffle over a stationary bike. Son wanted to ride the bike. Daughter yanks him off the bike ripping his costum we just bought. So in return pulls on his sisters costum and rips hers too.......

How long past Halloween should I keep them grounded? :d:

The Belt. I was whipped pretty hard, cought on, didnt screw around anymore. My sister however was the "Little Princess" and never was disaplined (sp). She is now a druggy emo who cuts herself and I am the praised good child. Whip your kid or they might turn emo. You think im joking, im not.

Nope. I stuck to my word. My son however threw his arms up in the air in disgust.........."What's next?! Christmas?!?!?!" I told him if he doesn't watch his tone it could be.

I did ask both of them how many times I had to warn them if they misbehaved and what the consequences would be.
I do feel guilty. I told them I wish we could have gone trick or treating, but if I went against my word I would be concerned that you would have less respect for your mom and I.

It is all good now. My son totally blames my wife. :d:
