I just closed on my first house. After 2 years of searching and multiple attempts, I finally got it right.
60's ranch completely updated inside & out, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, finished walkout basement, 2.5 acres, a pond and 3 garages. I'm so excited to be broke :finger:
House is in White Lake, party to come in September. I wanna clean up the yard, paint inside and setup the shop first. Inside the house nothing major needs to be done other then paint. Has hardwood floors throughout and a new kitchen with granite and stainless appliances. Only downside is its fuel oil heat via a boiler. No natural gas cause the owners before were cheap and didn't wanna pay for it.
Has a new roof, 250' deep well, boiler, water softener, 200amp service and box, both bathrooms are new too. The red garage is less then 10 years old as well. Has 10'6" ceiling so my hoist will fit (Mohawk 9k) plus upstairs storage. Its an all steel building. The picture is deceiving, the pond is far away from the walkout part of the finished basement. Mosquitoes are gonna suck but its nice to look at.
Just so you know of the peacock lives at your place and you try to give it a way or just go dump it off somewhere to get rid of it, it will come back. My aunt had a couple and gave them away. The people lived down state from them some 50-70 miles away. 2 days after they took it they went missing and showed up back at my aunts house a week later.
Congrats Andrew. Looks like a pretty nice place with a nice yard.
