I have a 94 Tracker that bogs down and sputters after I hit any decent size puddle. I have checked the air filter after doing this and it is dry. I have also put a new cap, wires and rotor on it and although that did make it run better it did not affect the water issue. I saw in one of these post someone mention fuses under the hood, I am not sure if this would affect anything? Any ideas of suggestions on what I might need to do or look at? Thanks
Seal up fuse box in Tupperware container, same with computer (but make sure it won't overheat), Dielectrical grease on all connections, Seal things up with RTV, etc.
I'd just drive slower through deeper water :sonicjay:
its the metal looking box with a wire out of it that goes to the distributor (black/red round thingy on the back side of the head near the firewall), Its the thing that has a "spark plug wire" going to it, but its not a spark plug.
Ah yeah I knew that. Sorry not that familiar with wroking on vehicles. ( as if you couldn't tell) I am better with sleds and small engines. Thanks for the suggestions.:beerbang:
