Hello,

I have been slowly working on my Yamaha exciter ex570 sled I got from my aunt and uncle and I finally got it running pretty well however when you let off the brake and rev the motor it trues to move about a inch or so.

This sled sat a few years covered outside so I am suprised it is even running but I think it would be neat to have run and drive. Yes, this is listed in the misc forsale section for $200 and is still forsale but I figure if I get it working properly I will keep it.

Thanks,
Joe

if you get the track off the ground will the engine spin it? can you move it by hand if you remove the belt??

it might free up with some spinning. my old polaris did. make sure all the bogy wheels are free and not locked up. they are fairly cheap to replace.

I will lift the track up tommorow and then spin it, this is going to make me sound stupid but how do you take the belt off? Do you pull the secondary clutch off?

Also, how wide is a new belt? I am thinking maybe mine is so worn it does not grab anymore?
