Hes had that for sale off and on for the past couple of years... It has a built in 5" body lift!!! Kinda like the guy that had 2 ford frames piggy backed on top of each other to get his massive lift...

Why would a guy go to that much trouble to run stock axles???:teehee:

after inquiring about it a 2nd time, thought maybe the guy just wanted it out of his garage, I know its been up for sale a couple times over the last few years, but the seller thinks he built something out of gold, but painted it yellow. says he probably was $1000 into the frame, I asked, was the 2in. box tube on sale ? :sonicjay: he replies by sends me more pics

anyone else notice none of the angles have any reinforcement? I don't think I would trust just a butt weld. Not to mention that you cant work on the trans/tcase without pulling the body every time. I don't think it's all that strong or practical, just HEAVY.

Normal YJ frame tubing is about 5 lbs per foot, that works out to around 10lbs per ft.

Probably 200lbs over stock on that thing, and its 6-7" tall rails, where the stocker is 4".

Looks like something for under a mud runner on tractor tires.

I dont think so

I know my XJ needs a new frame front to back, and I have been watching this build on another XJ site for over a year now, where this guy replaced all the frame with 2x4 box tube and added body mounts, if anyone is interested, here a link to his build thread. I might just go this route
