Since ammo prices have become stupid, I decided to get into reloading. Now that I am, I CAN'T FIND ANY POWDER! Is anyone else finding that? Also, primers are looking scarce.
Christ. Do people just have massive amounts of shit just buried in their back yards or something? I mean does someone need 10k primers or 40 pounds of powder?
I've just been looking for 2-3k large and small pistol primers and like 3k of small rifle primers and theres like nothing anymore. I was looking for for a few pounds of powder too like 231 or power pistol and every powder I wanted to try is just gone.
So your saying if you order from wholesaler a and the price is this much but they are out. So you call a wholesaler b and there cost is more your price doesnt change ? You wont be in business long like that.
I didn't say I was running a business. Any stores that are charging a higher price than they were a month ago for any ammunition are gouging, plain and simple. Our stock comes right from the manufacturers and their prices have not changed, or ours would have.
From wholesaler and from manufacture are two diffferent things. Wholesalers can and will gouge when possible . Your luck to be employed with someone big enough to order direct.
that's cool and all, my second is in business. You're suggesting he read a book, because he's denouncing use of a system which is known to be unsustainable and destructive to the society/group which practices it? correct?
Well, found powder and small rifle primers/ large handgun primers. Small pistol primers still seem to be quite elusive...
