took my polaris out last week for a test ride. runs great for a sled with almost 13k on it.
it could use springs on it. i got a couple sets of fat boy springs ready to go on it.
its a back up sled, so i will wait till next year. otherwise its ready to go.

my yamaha just got put back together. it will be tested out this weekend.
gotta put ski skins on it, but otherwise its ready to ride. i might do a new primary
clutch spring and weights after the test ride. its launching with the rpms a little too low.
i rebuilt the secondary, and most of the rear suspension.

damn your a lucky man!! the best sled out this year!
i see the 509 posters. i just got a pair of sinister black opps and the new aviator.hope to try them out soon.
why did you get a 163 over the 155? you better hit the mountains for that.we are doing a ride at the west side of the u.p. in late jan early feb.depending on snow.you need to go with us.we have some crazy places to go over there only long tracks can make.

from what the guys are saying on snowest you have the best mountain sled out this year.i want one real bad but i need to wait a year. i wondered how you found a pro.(i have only found 2 155's)they seem to be hard to find.
you will need to go to munasing or west of marquette to find any good snow this weekend. there was still some base left in the u.p last week after 2 45 degree days.so if they are getting some fresh like we are, then it will be ok riding.i have 8 inch of new snow and it is still snowing at my place.

I know where 2 155s are right now, and 2 assault 155s. I was in Marquette on Saturday and it was pretty poor there. Me and the wife may just go to GM, or seney this weekend to try and get a few trail miles on them, just to break mine in, and make sure hers is good to go. Im a pretty loyal skidoo customer (had 7 XP chassis sleds) and wanted to try something new. Skidoo is pretty proud of there new 800Etec and I wasnt about to give them what they wanted for it. Plus I know a lot of guys already selling them as they didnt live up to the hype....better fuel economy and oil consumption(summit etec is no better then ptek motor)

you ever need a extra guy for your western trips let me know.i have been out there a few times and once you ride there you don't even want to ride in mi again.

Not to bust your balls, because that is a sick sled, but where can you really put that thing to use in Michigan? I'm not a snowmobiler, but anytime I've ridden it's been just been flat groomed trails in MI, not exactly mountain sled territory. Are you allowed to wander anywhere on state land, or are you required to stick to designated trails?

tested out my old yamaha this weekend. new shocks. rebuilt secondary clutch, hyfax, ski skins, a whole bunch of suspension bushings. it has not rode this good in years.
the old 600's run good. turned 8600 miles saturday. conditions were not good though.
only got about 100 miles. i tested out both my old junkers, and was happy with both of them.
