the 5.4 and v10 are coil on plug, you have to remove the coil, unplug it and remove the 8mm bolt, and then pull it out of the head and theres your plug
Just watch out for the passanger side plug all the way in the back, think its cyl #7, sometimes the coolant hose above it leaks and the top of the plug can get corroded. Make sure to blow out the holes with air before taking them out
There not to bad, usually take me about an hour to do them if all goes well. Lucky ford now offers a thread insert kit for the heads if the plug pulls out the threads with it or if the plug blows out of the head

btw....cheapest quote I found was $300 for a plug change on my SD. F that.
