Well I have been working on this for the past 3 or so years and finally starting to get somewhere. the Jeep is a 88 Yj but that is about all the Jeep that is left to it. I was gonna gonna use 4in springs and axle under it but did lots of research and decided to link it and coil over it. Oh and drop it about a foot and still run the same size tires. It should have about 4-5 in compression and 13-14in droop. The drive train consists of a 94 LT1 TH350 203 205 doubler. 14 bolt in the back and HP 60 in the front. 5.13 gears and 42in Iroks. Should work well. Here are some pics. Have some more to post up soon.
yea it had 9 inches haha. 4in springs plus axle over. Now that I took off the leafs, linked it, its only 2in taller suspension wise than a stock YJ. And I am running 18in travel coilovers and they are 2.5 body with res. Im a dealer for FOA so I decided to go all out.
Well the Jeep is supporting its weight finally. Completely tore it down to the bare frame and finish welded everything. So close to being done its not even funny.
Thanks . I'm taking it to Badlands the week it is done for a shake down run then off to Virginia for a week of mayhem. Anybody gonna wanna go to Badlands in the next week or so?
Well got it painted a few weeks back. Time for gauges and lights.
