ok honcho got me thinking about the old girl. so I start tomorrow on a restore and chop job to make a trail wale look cool.
ill check the year in the morning was thinking it was a early 90's but I believe its a 85 86. have not had it running in 5 years.
so before is the red bike. the second one is the look im going for and going to copy most parts. using a 1974 Yamaha ty250 gas tank, some old panels, chopping frame and a early headlight like whats on the second tw.i have a few sets of forks from old race bikes.bars, triple clamps, foot pegs im going to put on.even have some old slip on silencers off race bikes. think the seat is going to be the hardest to find a fit. what ya think honcho? I dig the second bike and it would be fun to keep in my semi for a pit bike.

I know this bike is lame but I have had it forever.(bought it for a girlfriend years ago) so I might as well do something with it.

I have a few sets of hand guards. im having issues getting the right fork setup.i have a couple upside down newer mx forks and triple clamps.but not going to be easy to get on there.the stock stem is real small and only 33mm forks. there is a bunch of old school mid 80 stuff that will bolt right up, but I want newer upside down and fat bars.. so when I get time im going to work on that tomorrow. get front done, get the banshee rear shock on. i need to figure out what side panels I like and how im going to mount the old school 1969 chrome z50 fenders.
