If you have never heard of SnoFari before, here is some information;

SnoFari is a family oriented Winter trail-ride that takes place on state land in and around the West Branch, Mi area. It is open to all makes and models of licensed four-wheel drive vehicles. We host a banquet dinner on Saturday night and give away TONS of awesome prizes during the raffle. The event is sanctioned by the Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association.

Thanks for saving me a rim, that could have really sucked!

As a reminder to all, re check lugnuts on new rims after the first 100 miles, not after two come off and three others are half way off :sonicjay:

Had a great time and everybody on mine & Dan's runs was a blast! We really had a great time wheeling with old and new friends alike! Hope you liked this years trail selection!

:woot:

Don't try to top it.

I've seen many good events ruined by trying to make every year bigger and better than the last.

Had a blast and can't wait to go back.

Beefy thank Megan for turning up the heat in the Dakota so my sticker would stick to the windshield :teehee:

Just wanted to say thanks again to SOFO and GLFWDA for a great time , the only thing that sucked was trying to say Hi & talk to everyone :sonicjay: , it was just impossible !! Although there wasn't much snow , this year was epic :thumb:

Thank you to all of you who came to our brief GLFWDA Quarterly meeting on Friday night at SnoFari. We went a little long, but Leah was still talking to me after the meeting so it must have been close enough.

We tried to add a feature that would allow participants to join us on the Internet. It did not work as well as we hoped - those in the audience could not hear the online folks and vice versa. The online folks were universal in their opinion that someone very close to the mic needs a cough drop before we try it again. We will work out some of the bugs and try it again next time.

Thank you SoFO for giving us a slot for the meeting, makes a HUGE difference in attendance over the old way of waiting until Sunday, when everyone is already packing for the trip home.

Thanks. I was reading in the events forum on GLFWDA and noticed that SnoBlind had the same registration date as SnoFari, but the event took place in Feb. Just curious as to this was my first SnoFari and really enjoyed it, so thought I would see what SnoBlind was all about:thumb:

I thought the Snoblind was all filled up ?? Last time I talked to Paul about it , he said there was only a couple spots left and that was over a month ago ?? Because I wanted to make sure my Jeep survived the Snofari before I committed to the Snoblind !?

I have been to both now (1st time at Snofari this year) and thought Snofari was better. It really all depends what group your in and how capable the rigs are that determines the pace you go through the trails, waiting for some to get up a hill, etc. But this year at Snofari was great. I will definetely be back next year. I will say the average age of all the participants and staff in Snofari is a bit younger then SnowBlind which seems to make it a bit more exciting.

Bottom line, both events are great and help out the sport we all love and also gives a lot of money to the good town of West Branch. I love going to the Quality in with the Lumber Jack and have become good acquaintances with the wait staff. Thanks again to all that put this on and fight for the trails to stay open. Without you, we wouldn’t have either of these events!

I cannot say enough good things about how awesome this event was for me and my co-rider. It was definitely a good time all around... The only one thing I could have asked for was a Star Trek teleported to get me me home Sunday morning... I was SoFowked up, I couldn't even empty the room and pack the jeep for the ride home... Damn you Americans and you inexpensive booze....
