Relay question

I don't know much about electrical when it comes to anything...

What I have is a 12v motor. Only two wires one power and one ground. But when I reverse them the motor runs the opposite direction. I need to be able to control both directions and I'm hopping to be able to do that with one (return to neutral rocker)
Is this poss? If so what would I need? I have standard relays, 6 pole I think. Would they work?
If so any help would be great so I don't cook my truck!

I wonder if a power window switch would be up your alley? Power to the switch from a circuit breaker, ground and the switch should move power/ground to the motor from the switch changing direction. There should be rocker switches that can do this but I have no idea how to wire them.

I like the idea tho.

Make sure the switch is rated for the motors draw. You never mentioned what size motor you were running.

And just for future reference, that's not 6 poles. It's a double pole double throw switch. Also known as DTDP.
