I can't find it. They say online that it's near the tow hook on the passenger side but I can't find it. Most likely, I'll have to order the cord but the actual plug seems to be eluding me.
are you talking about a 2007 6.0L or a 2008 6.4L? i belive all 6.0's came with them but were tucked back, but the 6.4s only had the heating element in the block and the cord was optional.
The 2007 6.0 is what I have. I keep searching in the places where they say it should be. So far, haven't needed to plug it in though. It's been at the mechanic's so often since we bought it that I've been driving the TJ.
My EGR valve was causing trouble then I had the words "WATER IN FUEL" flash at me.
6.0 block heater was a option also the element is there you just need to have a cord installed cost me about $ 150 that i was told was a $ 50 option when new
150 holy shit? i replaced mine i didn't think it was anywhere near that. It plugs in right above the starter and is routed under the motor, along the passenger side of the frame (you can see it in the wheel well) and then comes out by the pass. tow hook. From what i've read they don't all have cords
After i had it done I found them online for like $ 19 bucks But I had already had the dealer ship put one on so ya i think i got hosed oh well to late now
