I have bought stuff I needed for a project, but was to cheap to buy sober a few times. Also have put a bunch of guns on layaway over the last 4 years on budsgunshop.
T15 bellhousing to allow T18 to bolt to AMC L6/V8. I had been thinking about doing the swap, and bought it late on a friday night on a buy it now whim. Probably 7 or 8 years ago.
It made sense to me when I first read it. In my experiences with eBay, I bid at the last moment and usually win the auctions when I do this. It has never made sense to me for people to start bidding with a lot of time in the auction left, though.
I forged a plan while at the bar about ten years ago to buy a sailboat paint it yellow like a school bus and call it short bus.... Four hours later I found a boat placed a bid and forgot about it until a day or two later congratulating me on my purchase.
I still have the boat to this day she has served me well. Going to have to dig up a picture I guess. There is also a giant battle flag one of the crew had made for me that we fly before races that says "team window licker". Where all about being PC

I was hammered enough to be positive all the writing on it was neon tube and thought $100 was a steal. Had it shipped to her house Next summer i went to visit and realized what a POS it was. Lol
