Motor is an AMC 360
The motor makes really bad grinding, clanking, banging, screeching noises.
The transmission is a rebuilt 727
Not sure what were considered options. It has A/C that worked, power windows/locks, etc
The interior can use some work. The headliner is sagging.
I drove this as a daily driver for a while and sunk a lot of money into it. The steering, shocks, bushings, etc were all maintained and worked fine. It will need a set of springs at some point, but it has the cushy Cadillac boat ride feeling that I liked.
The body and frame are really clean. It was a Colorado Jeep where they don't use salt like they do here. It isn't rotten like most Michigan Wagoneers.

Tuesday??? GRRR have to work....I want that Schlitz chair!

Is there a reserve on everything?

Most of the toys and whatnot would get much better money on cl or egay. Neat stuff tho.
Time is money. Yes, you may get better money for a few items on craigslist, but for the time involved, it isn't worth it. I have 3+ hours worth of stuff to sell at auction. Do you realize how long it would take to list, deal with bullshit emails, meet tire kickers, negotiate the deal, and finally sell that much stuff? More time than I want to even think about. Oh, yeah. I am an auctioneer, so I am a little partial to the auction method. ;)

I am more than happy to take absentee bids on items. Send me a PM if you are interested. The Schlitz chair needs refinished or at least taken down and reglued. It is loose.

As for it being on Tuesday, there is a reason. If you list an auction on a Saturday morning, you will be competing with tons of auctions all around you. For example, this Saturday, there are 47 auctions within a 50 mile radius of my house. Unless you have one killer auction, your big money buyers are going to be spread pretty thin. Tomorrow (Tuesday) there is 1 auction in that 50 mile radius. Plus, your antique dealers are working their stores on the weekends. Weekday auctions are easier for them to attend. Collectors don't worry about the weekday either. They will attend or leave an absentee bid. Just some of the psychology that goes in to having a successful auction. You can't just throw stuff out in the yard and post a small classified ad anymore.
