Picked it up a few weeks ago from Williams in Davison, MI. I love the 1911 styling and wood grips.. Got a great deal on it for $629.. A buddy of mine went to bass pro and bought the same gun for 770. Lol, so stay away from there for guns. This was my first ever gun purchase. I filled out the background check paper work and they called it in to the "FBI" and I was cleared to buy it right away. :thumb:

Bass Pro matches any in store prices in MI, and gives you money back on your purchases with the free rewards card :thumb:

Soo you could have gotten $12 back on your purchase on top of getting the same price. Do a little research before you bad mouth a company.

DOH!

I forgot he bought it as Williams. I was going to say, he doesn't have his CPL so he would have needed a PP to buy it, but that would have been the case if it bought it from a private seller.

I'm too tired to read today.

I've ignored SS. Just to much of a pot stirrer and I get worked up to damn easy. If that's the kind of guy he is let him do as he pleases. Kind of pathetic though.

You can say what you want. You can develop whatever dream world you want to live in but you are so far gone now it's absolutely amazing.

It's even more incredible that you think your problems here are MY fault. You still have yet to be a man and own up to anything.

How old are you, just wondering on age for your first purchase. I bought my first gun with help from my dad at 13, bought my muzzle loader at 17, been buying one a year, or so since.

I can not remember how old I was when I picked up my first pistol a S&W model 629 power ported 44 mag,

should have never sold that plinkster.

We are trying to do this more and more. Local hardware versus HD or Lowes. Local restaurant versus a chain restaurant. Most of the time I am product shopping, not price shopping.

On the other hand, I took it in the a$$ a couple weeks ago. I used Accurate Firearms as an FFL and they charged me $75. Lots of places charge under $50.

BTW, I do not hate our country. I love our country, I just hate the way it's trending. :thumb:

Did everyone turn into liberals overnight? Just curious, considering you all usually say that if a man can be successful and build his company from the ground up, he earned his right to what he has. Well, Bass Pro started in a liquor store in 1971 and turned into a mail order company, and over the years has been built to what it is now.

None of you would expand a company to serve as many people as possible if you're doing well enough to do so? lol

I have no shame working for a company that was home grown just like any of the small stores now, who did things right and was able to build 70+ stores and employ about 15,000 Americans. Not only that, but very very few employees are started at or make minimum wage. They constantly put people to full time work and offer health benefits and even retirement plans if you think you'll work there that long.

Theres something wrong with all that?

I like Bass Pro for their great selection of fishing ammo and their cool and huge fish tank.

One day soon I will get my first pew pew and my dad just asked me if I had any interest in his shotgun as he was thinking about selling it to a guy he knows from church.

I think I am interested in it as he has had it for about 30 years. I am going to get the info on it and ask your opinion about it as I know little about guns but have started reading recently.

Ok here is what my Dad offered to me.

Savage/Stevens 67 Series E

12 Gauge pump shotgun

And this is what I found about it

2 years ago #2

the Stevens 67 was a utility shotgun when they originally were sold.

They were discontinued in 1989.

If the gun is in excellent condition, and is a later model with choke tubes and a vent rib - it would be valued at $200.00 to $250.00 If it is one of the older guns with a fixed choke and no vent rib it's value would be $100 less.

All prices contingent on condition.

Any opinions beyond that???
