Shoot I wish I didn't get out at 7.I just bought a cannondale scalpel last winter and am wanting to break it in. If you guys go on the weekends make a post ill tag along if you don't mind
It was awesome condition last night - sorry for the late response. We're going this weekend - but taking the dogs and probably only riding the North loop.
I'm thinking of getting a Strava account for Nellie and throwing it in her backpack. :d:
Rode tonight, scooter you beat me, by 3 minutes or so. My front brake is dragging, need to check that out. Rode The west, tech, and lake all twice, and the north once, was a nice night to get out and ride.
I was in a black/yellow helmet, green shorts. Passed a guy in a white shirt on a 29'er by the bench and again on the lake loop. Another group of two or three let me by near the beginning of the west loop. I was with a girl on a bright orange specialized, and one of my buddies on silver hardtail.
It's funny how that works, isn't it? One year, I spent two weeks out west for work and rode every day, usually above 7000'. I get back in Michigan in time to race Ore to Shore and figured I'd be set. Nothing went right, had a horrible ride and placing.
Shit happens. So, next time I hit that loop fast, I'll probably be slower than my first time out this year. :teehee: Talk about cardio - my lungs were the only thing fighting to keep up - my muscles never got sore or felt abused the next day, or today.
