Picked up this guy off the WA craiglist!! Had her shipped and well haven't done much.

Specs:
401
Th400
Quad with part-time kit
D44 front and rear
2" body lift (life save on trans work)
35s

I'm about finishing up with the trans and it'll be the winter car. When I get another car to be the winter car (saving the MR2 from the snow) I'm going to make it into a fun trail rig.

It came with a Deere

Driving it off the trailer :woot:

and off into the sunset!! Well, that lasted about a month and then the trans went! . . . . ehh, o well :sonicjay:

Future plans:
SOA
D60 and 14 bolt
4:88s
ARBs
39: iroks
don't know what transfer case yet, possibly atlas

Some "real" bumpers and HUGE winch

when you dropping it off so we can weld some penii on it :D ..

I was thinking about letting you guys do the bumpers and then of course ordering the steering from you cause it's well "bad ass" but no penii on it.

So the trans was rebuilt last year, it has paperwork for it. I drop it and the housing was cracked on the side above the pan, where it flares out at the bottom if you TH400s you'll understand. Well, instead of scraping it they put a shit tone of RTV on it . . . I wonder if that hand anything to do with the trans failing :poke:

Yup, It was the closest biggest parking lot :tonka:

Yeah, I think so, will probably keep this one a long time and I hate/love you for trading yours/scootes Chief to me which started the FSJ love affair :sonicjay:

Actually don't answer that question above concerning your super arched springs but rather

I still think the paint is goofy but it's growing on me. It's too nice to change, maybe that's the real reason it's going on me :sonicjay: I think that once I get some real bumpers on her and either paint the rocker tube or toss it it'll be bettter. . . . kinda Ateamish right now.

It will never see MI winters . . . maybe a little salt down here in southern OH but no MI winters . . . EVER!! :sonicjay:

The way that thing looks coming off the trailer is exactly the reason I want one for my next rig.
We were supposed to beat the guy there but he made good time and was in the parking lot when we arrived. IT was BAD ASS to roll up on it when it was on the trailer . . . like a shiny prize or something :tonka:

Tube bumpers aren't real? :sonicjay: Gawd I hate those things!

Nice rig though! :thumb:
Me too . . . They will be replaced with some nice sturdy steal bumper with a HUGE winch in the middle :nana:

FYI everything I have read about Ohio is they use just as much salt, didn't pay attention to your location. There are a few guys from the Early 5 board down there and say it is every bit as bad as MI.

Still a cool truck.

Rightfully so. Tell ya what drew. Bring the chief up here. I will store it for free. Just leave me the keys. Promise it won't see saltsnow, mud, branches, rain perhaps, but no salt.

Drew, you are aware the beast you refered to with pics isn't the riverbeast right? Both super sharp rigs. just looking for clarification/

#28 ·
Yeah, that's David Allan's beast from DAR at silver lake. Wheeled with him once back when I had the White ZJ. . . cool dude!

The "River Beast" is where I'm getting my lift parts from. Tadsal, TTfab makes the SOA plates and the shackle flip kit that was on the "river beast"

Pics of river beast.

It will flex like this! :naughty:

I found this guy on the web at Yesteryear tractor. They haul these tractors all acorss the country and I worked out a deal with him. He picked it up at the PO house and dropped it off here at the Walmart which is 2 miles away for $1000

Drew, I'm from Cincinnati; the winters are brutal, no so much snow as freezing rain, most times you can ice skate on the sidewalks. Lots of salt, no sand mix like here though. Love the chief by the way, treat yourself to a good time and go to the WEBN fireworks. Just don't drive there.

This is the new winter rig. . . it's got double duty now. Tow/Winter rig. I'll only drive the chief if we get a foot of snow or something and I'm stuck. As for right now It's just sitting . . . I'm trying to find a reason to justify keeping it. :(
