Ok so I need to know how this starter wires up. It has one big post for the battery lead and then has 2 small posts. How do I figure out which post the small wire goes to? And should there be a ground wire to the starter? Thanks again.
if i remember right there should also be a wire from your alternator to the big post on the starter i'll double check or i'm sure some one will correct me if i'm wrong
It does ground thru the block--but if you want to aid in cranking however you can run a ground wire from starter bolt back to the battery--use proper size. Starter is one of the largest electrical draws when engaged and can use all the help it can get. Plus its a second ground for the motor.
Ok I think I'll do that, it sure won't hurt anything. Thanks.
