who would have thought you could take such a nice looking car, put a bunch of work into it, and end up with such an ugly pile of crap.

i'm not saying it is built correctly but really would some of you say what you have said in this thread to the guy's face these posts like this are beginning to make me ill. Do you guy's not have respect for other peoples hobbies or tastes no one is forcing you to drive the damned thing. I'm sure people look at our jeeps and say why the fuck did that guy move his wheels why do his tires stick out where are the fenders .

I mean to each his own Just because you have different taste in Vehicles or hobby does not mean that this guy did not put many hours of blood sweat and tears into that car.

By the by if it was on stock suspension in that shape it would go for 12000 yesterday
oh and those look like 30's

If it were stock and all the parts there (glove box door, ash tray door etc...) I wouldn't mind having it. I have had a '72 Cutlass and loved it. Sold it cause the frame rotted off at the right front body mount. It was real common on these frames which include the Chevelle, Skylark and LeMans among maybe a few others. The body mount hole was punched so that the burr was facing up, on the inside of the frame rail it would collect salt and mud and it could not get out because of the lip created by punching the steel from the wrong direction. BTM.

X2!!

I had a 70 Cutlass Supreme and to this day was one of the most fun cars I have owned. And it surmised to the same death as your '72. Frame rot right behind the front wheels. It got so bad that when you hit the brakes, you could see the entire front clip flex up and down. :poke:

maybe he uses the same excuse i hear from everybody when I ask them why they daily drive a gas guzzling suv instead of a normal car..."I like sitting up higher, cars just sit too low..."

I Would Trow A Nice Set Of Meats On There To Wheel In It And Keep The "donk" Rims For Show .. I Bet This Guy Could Win Some Awards At A Few Auto Shows For This Thing .. I Mean Maybe He Dont Really Care If Its Reliable Because Look How Nice It Is ... Maybe He Just Takes It Out For Shows And Dont Drive It At All ... I Would Drive It .. Trow Some Meats On It And See What It Does .. It Looks Fun ... Its Different .. I Mean Maybe The Guy Isnt Very Mechanically Savvy So He Just Wanted It To Look Nice Cause You Know Some Kid Or Some Black Guy Likes Shit Like This And Just Might Buy It .. He Will Prolly Make A Killing Off It When It Sells Because He Might Have Not Had To Do Much To It .. Or Maybe He Is Mechanically Savvy And Gets All His Stuff Discount So He Didnt Pay Shit And Is Selling It For 15x's What He Put Into It ... Idk .. I Hate When Everyone Dawgs Everyone Elses Rides ... Who Cares Ya Know .. If You Dont Like It Then Dont Buy It .. If I Like It I Dont Want To Hear Everyone Talking About It Being Shit ... Again To Each Is Own ... I Would Wheel It Cause I Think Its Different ...
