This cannot be for real.

How can a man that works 70+ hours a week, that lives 1.5 hours from work that has a new wife, a new born and new house manage to swap 60's into his 2010 JK----at his cabin 3 hours away from his home---in under one month and you cannot manage to sand a panel on this build??

I mean, just curious?

:(

I did get back to working on this pile this weekend. I sleeved my upper link 1.75" .120 wall with a section of 1.50" .120 and made it adjustable with a pair of ruff stuff 1.25" Heims. Really top notch pieces. I picked up a 10' stick of 1.75" tube to redo my front coilover hoops so I chopped off the old ones. Will have new hoops bent up this week.

Last bit of chassis work that needs to be done is weld on the rear caliper brackets and rebuild the calipers and finish welding the track bar, drag link and tie rod but that can be done later and I might change tube size so ill just use what I Have now.

Yeah but they had been cut, shortened, cobbled back together, and looked bad on top of the lack of strength.

I bought a project from Andy in similar condition as this one. I know it may be hard to imagine him giving up on basically a pile of parts but its true. That was like 4 years ago, since then I built the whole thing from a frame including building the motor from a bare block, wheeled for three years and am already bored with it lol. With him buying a house now this thing won't make it to auto Rama till at least 2020

It will be done when i feel ready to complete it. Getting my career and a house together have been more important to me then a Jeep. Things are finally comming together so i can focus on this again soon.
