I don't know anything about this, but I have seen the after effects of fixing broken car/truck plastic trim/bumper pieces and you can't even tell it was broke. Anybody have any experience with this?
Reason I ask for info on how to do this, I recently got an older Contour SVT and one of the rocker panel skirts is broke and I'd like to fix it but don't know where to start. Thanks.
If not I can offer some suggestions. From a distance of about 20 feet it looked fine but up close you could tell. I used a two part epoxy and a few small holes with paperclips to hold it until the epoxy set. I groved it and just left the bent clips in place and painted with a color match paint. This was on the front facia of a grand am.
Yea a two part repair product is what you need. Or the urethane will be a cheaper way to do it also, it will take longer to set up. You can get the quick set stuff also.
