So last week i sold my 353 sbc and the SM465 tranny. On tap now is the BBC and TH350 tranny. I'm in the process of building the engine right now and also rebuilding the tranny.

74" 2bolt vette block
Comp Cam Extreme 4x4 camshaft
Single plane Intake
750 Holley double pumper w/ choke horn milled off
Speed Pro forged dome pistons .060 over
Cast crank
Cast rods
10.1 compression

Tranny:
TH350
Shift kit
Art Carr shifter

T-Case
NP205 w/ fixed rear yoke

Axles:
Dana 60 front "spooled"
14 Bolt rear "welded"

Hey i see your putting the 770 truck avenger on. Great carb but sucks balls off the line unless you have a pretty serious built big block. I have the 770 also on a Buick 455 built pretty decent in a blazer and i have a horrible stumble off the line. I called Holley and talked to there "truck and street avenger specialist" and he told me that they have some check valve in the metering block that wont lift off until you get up in revs or have a pretty serious big block to pull enough air through the carb to lift the check valves off idle. Makes no sence to me since a 770 is not that huge of a carb. and he said there's nothing you can do about it all he did was offer me a reman 670 in place of my 770. but fuck that deal. Just thought id let ya know before you spend the 300 sum odd dollars on a 770. Might wanna call and talk to Holley first.

Sounds like the blazer is goin good man!

Update!!!! Tranny just got rebuilt, by Joe's Transmission in Boyne City. Block had to be decked .004 due to the high spot between #4-6 & 3-5. Soft plugs are now in, and got the new S A gear Doug Herbert timing gear set. Should be getting crankshaft back from being balanced w/ in the week. Short block should be complete soon!!

Well still haven't got the rest of my engine parts, so i decided to do some body work. Trimmed the front fenders. Cut the rear part back so the tire wouldn't hit anymore and then cut the front part of the fender straight across. The passenger side turned out good them i ran out of batteries for my rayobi cordless sawzaw, so i had to get my dads craftsman to do the drivers side. It didn't turn out so hot, i cuts a lot faster than the rayobi one!! :( But it turned out ok. Also got the shift light mounted.

I hope that is not your fresh built trans bolted to the np205?

why are you running that intake and then a spacer as well? you are really taking away from your torque, which is what you need in mud.
Yep thats my rebuilt TH350 bolted to the NP205....that pic was before i cleaned it off.

Don't know if i'm gonna run the spacer or not, it was on my old small block when i had it. Depends on if i have to get a 50cc Accelerator Pump or not, you need a 1/4 spacer to comp for it.

why are you running that intake and then a spacer as well? you are really taking away from your torque, which is what you need in mud.

Got some work done yesterday started patching the firewall where the old heater was. Pulled it out about 2 years ago and just out duck tape over it as a quick fix. So i decided to put a piece of metal over it. I'm gonna put my ignition box on it when i get it. It's gonna be mounted in the cab so it wont get wet. Still gotta finish drilling out all the holes for it but it a start

Well got some work done yesterday. Got the rest of the hole drilled for the patch panel and also got the steering box off the frame so i can swap the new one in. Had to pull the coupler for the steering wheel off the old box and put it on the new one. Hopefully this one doesn't leak like the old one. Doesn't look like the frame is cracked anywhere so that's a great thing. Gonna try and beef it up a little bit there as well.
