Hoping for a little help. I have a truck that we use for hauling landscape supplies that has good E rated tires. One has a nail hole in right where the sidewall meets the tread. Bell Tire and Discount just want to sell me new tires. Does anyone know a shop around that still installs tubes. Any help is appreciated. I just do not want to throw away a $200 tire for this little damage. Thanks..Glenn
Most places will not install a tube either. The concern is with damage to the area where the side wall and tread belts come together. Putting a tube in the tire will not relieve any of the stress on that area.
With that being said, I would probably repair it myself without issue but from a business standpoint, it's a liability.
yup the one on ford rd, um ask any of the sales guys since i work out back and dont ring anything up, talk to brian , jeff, craig, or john or ask for my boss keith, one of those guys will hook it up
