Hi I have a 94 Cherokee I am putting a left on it the driver side rear leaf spring was bad so I had to remove it but the bolt that holds a leaf spring and the pocket was stuck so I had to cut it out now my problem is I can't get the rest of both out which is about an inch that screws into the unibody what I was wondering if somebody local or close by that can bring a small set of torches to cut the bolt out for me I would give beer pizza or pay for your gas its like a2 minute job its all of stopping for putting the rest my lift on the rear if you can help me I would appreciate it very much you can call me at 734-770- 6493 I'd like to get this done as soon as possible thank you
^^^ that's what I done worked like majic then reused another old bolt it was kinda small but it dont break yet next time I dose it I want a torch flame tho itwould male it lots easyier with al that rust on the xj
If you're replacing the spring, I cut the main eye and get the spring out then I work my way to the bushing sleeve. There is a parting line there when it was made. I open that slit up and get it turning then spin the main bolt out.
