Drummond island street legal questions?

So who has been up has been up to drummond island before. My two brothers and I have planned to go up there for the weekend befre the 4th. None of us have been there, and don't really know what to expect. From what I have heard there is an offroad park up there? If so, does anyone know what fees are to get in? Flags required? And as far as state trails, Just an ORV sticker is needed, right?

Most importantly, I have to chose one of our Jeeps to take, and only one is Street legal. My brother said the chamber of commerce website says all state roads in the county are open to ORV traffic. Does anyone know this to be true?

Does that mean I can take my Jeep which has no headlights, brake lights, wipers, or plate and not have any issues?

Thanks to all for the help. If anyne is planning to be up there we will get there Saturday the 28 and leaving tuesday morning the 1st.

Look up Turtle Ridge Off Road Park. It's a great park. Been there a few times. Last time it was $25 for a vehicle and driver plus $5 or $10 per passenger. Everyone has to sign a waiver. Flags weren't required last time I was there, but it has been close to 5 years.

If you are driving on the roads, you need to be street legal unless its an atv. Buddy of mine was pulled over just down from our hotel without a plate. Thankfully only a warning.

ORV sticker with trail permit required for any state trails on the island with that go slow on the side of the road I would suggest putting taillights on it at the VERY least.

Yes Turtle ridge is still $25 plus $5 for a passenger and no flags required. Call the resort to setup your park time. LINK
