Just rewatched it on the dvr and paused on the pin looks to say "No excuse for domestic violence" and the church sign looks to say revelations 6:17 "For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"
I'm so fucking pissed. I am a huge Walking Dead fan and I' ve been anticipating season 2 for months. I'm watching tv last night and my fucking dvr box fried an hour before it aired. I missed it.
Ok, why is it that as the characters wander around Atlanta and they find a tank full of ordinance or the Humvee's around town they don't try to use any of it?
Or because its not easy to come across fuel for any of them, so the 40mpg Hyundai was a logical choice (Although being a Hyundai because they are sponsoring is still gay.)
I do not get the AMC up here... but for some unknown reason, I saw the first episode of season one and loved it... I have looked and looked all over my TV for it and no such luck...
Yah Mschaffer pointed that tidbit out while we were watching it. :fish: I thought maybe the others had powered it but why would they let zombies roam the church then?
If the TV show is going to be anything like the graphic novel, there would be a reason that they [Herschel] let the zombies continue to exist in the church...
Easy... the bell calls the zombies to the church, the "others" go in and kill the zombies. At least that's what I was thinking towards the end of the show, when the bells were set so often on the timer.
Seems like they do things they used to do when they were living. In the 1st season there were a bunch just sitting in the bus in the city, and some just sitting in cars.
I thought it was weird as shit too that they were all just sitting in the church. I am SOOO looking forward to see what the next episode has in store for us. The lady and I love cuddling up to a gory zombie thriller.
I listened to the audio book. It was ok...kind of a neat idea. I also read the zombie survival guide by the same author, Max Brooks, son of Mel Brooks.
I really like The Walking Dead because it doesn't end. After a zombie movie, you're usually stuck wondering, well, now what happens? You don't usually ever get the long term survival plan, which is the most interesting aspect to the genre, IMO.
Lol, glad to see you think so highly of me....haha
