WTB 15" 8 lug rims

I've got the Ford dual piston calipers on my D60s and want to borrow a single 15" 8 lug rim and/or a 16" rim to see exactly how much trimming on the caliper would be necessary to fit the rims.

Anyone in South East Mi. have one I can borrow for a couple weeks?

Not sure if this is a pub topic, so move as necessary.

Understood. I should still be able to get a sense of HOW much grinding will be necessary. I don't want to ruin the integrety of the caliper just to go to 15" rims.

Depends on the offset Jeff. I used to run 15's on a 3/4ton ford, but they had like 2.5" backspacing. From what I've been told you cant grind enough off the ford calipers to make 15's fit in tight, you can on chevys but not fords. Thats why some guys convert their ford d60 to chevy brakes.

Interesting. 16" fit OK though? I'll run a search on a brake conversion, but I bet it runs me a couple hundred $$.

Ford 60 brake plates can be bought for around $100 then you can use cheap chevy calipers and save weight and fit 15's. You should buy a set and let me copy them on my cnc and I'll split the cost or something because I will need a set too. Or I'll buy them and copy them and you can buy them from me when I'm done for a discount. There are pics of people (on pirate) who have ground enough to get 15's to fit fords but it looks like A LOT of grinding and not too safe by the looks of it to me.
