flippity flippity crash crash crash. I'd be surprised, but there's an a-hole up here that puts together worse stuff than that. I know of a few of his "rebuilts" that track at least 10" off when comparing the front and rear.

my family used to own a bodyshop before my dad died 2 years ago...and to be honest you could buy that then go out and buy another one that is not too bad body wise but has a wrecked motor or really really bad frame and put the two together and make a pretty good profit...we used to repairables all the time just to fill the shop in the slow weeks.. we would have customers come in looking for a specific vehicle and we would go find one matching it and fix it...it would save them alot of money(instead of goin out and buying one from a dealer) and they would be able to get any color they wanted. my 2001 explorer i have now i bought wrecked for $100 with 80k on it..the roof was crushed down to the door handles but now you wouldnt even know that was ever wrecked..plus it is stronger now since the welding was a solid bead weld rather than the spot welding the factory does

I have been toying with the idea of buying something like this, and putting a 40/50's body on the new chassis to have old school looks with new school handling/power for a tow rig. I would prefer to do it with a diesel though. You can find older bodies down south relatively cheap, title it as the older truck and have super cheap insurance.
